Hi, I’m Sam — maker of things, wrangler of yarn, and founder of Floofy Friends Designs.

I’ve been crafting in one form or another for most of my life, usually surrounded by pets, half-finished projects, and the eternal mystery of where my scissors went.

I’m a one-person operation with a love for bright colors, quirky ideas, and the magic of turning a pile of materials into something that makes people smile.

If it’s cheerful, wearable, or vaguely ridiculous in the best way — I probably made it.

A Joyful Start

This all started with handmade gifts for my pets and the pets of people I love. The name “Floofy Friends” comes from exactly that — the four-legged inspirations who chewed on my scraps and modeled my first bandanas. Eventually, I realized I couldn’t keep everything I made (unless I wanted to live in a house made entirely of yarn and earrings). So I opened this shop to share my creations with fellow floof-lovers, color-lovers, and people who enjoy a little whimsy in their everyday. Whether it’s a glowing ghost keychain or a crocheted water bottle holder in just the right amount of color, everything here is made to brighten your day — and maybe get a few compliments.

Resin pieces like keychains, coasters, and larger items are sturdy but can still be scratched or damaged, so store them carefully to avoid rough surfaces or sharp objects. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth—never use acetone, rubbing alcohol, or strong chemicals, as they can degrade the resin’s finish. While durable, treating resin items with care will keep them looking their best for longer.
For best results, hand wash your crochet items in cold water and lay flat to dry. This ensures longevity and maintains quality

Yes — each set of plastic safety eyes is tightly secured with a backing and reinforced with felt to prevent movement. The pieces are heat-fused together so they don’t just “pop out.”
That said, crochet fabric is made of yarn with natural gaps, which means that in rare cases, determined little teeth could loosen an eye. For that reason, I don’t sell plastic-eyed plushies for babies or children under 3. For little ones, I always use soft embroidered cotton eyes instead.
The stress ball dumplings are filled with tiny plastic pellets, which are securely sealed inside a nylon pouch and then crocheted over.
While they’re designed to stay put under normal use, there’s always a very small chance the beads could escape under extreme pressure or damage. Because I never want to take risks with children’s safety, I only recommend these for ages 10 and up.
